Areej J. Salem, MD

Dr. Areej J. Salem, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with extensive experience in both hospital-based and outpatient women’s healthcare. She earned her BA in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Michigan and her MD from Universidad IberoAmericana in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Salem completed her OB/GYN residency training at Tulane University and Christiana Care Health Systems. She has served in various clinical roles, including with Pavilion OB/GYN at AtlantiCare in New Jersey, Ob Hospitalist Group and Women’s Care Florida in Tampa. Since 2022, she has worked as a locum tenens physician across Florida, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Salem is especially interested in minimally invasive surgery and high-acuity obstetric care.
