IU Health Pre-Admission Testing

We want to make sure you are prepared for surgery and anesthesia at IU Health. With pre-admission testing, we will perform physicals, diagnostic testing and medical history to screen and optimize medical conditions that may affect your surgical outcome.

Pre-Admission Testing is staffed with a team of medical professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses. Clinic staff also provide education to patients prior to surgery.

Your surgeon will determine if you need to be seen in the PAT Clinic.
