At our Bloomington location, we provide a wide range of services, including:
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy: can rapidly accelerate wound healing by delivering high concentrations of oxygen to the blood stream.
- Mist therapy: a painless, non-contact, low frequency ultrasound delivered through a saline mist to the wound bed.
- Negative pressure wound therapy: promotes healing in wounds with a vacuum dressing.
- Compression therapy: used to reduce swelling and frequently uses specially medicated bandages that help promote healing.
- Application of skin grafts: created from cells in human or animal tissue and used to heal ulcers that are not healing after 3-4 weeks.
- Surgical/selective debridements: performed by providers to remove devitalized tissue and promote wound healing.
- Chemical cauterization: used by providers to treat and mange wounds and tissue damage.
- Skin biopsy: may be used to evaluate and diagnose skin conditions and remove abnormal tissue.
- Ostomy nurse visits: available for patient who need further education after surgery or patient who may be having issues with their ostomy appliances at home.

An initial appointment consists of a system review, functional assessment, and wound evaluation followed by an individualized plan of care consisting of a variety of treatment tools. Every patient and every wound have unique circumstances. Physicians thoroughly evaluate each patient’s wound and develop individual treatment plans based on a needs assessment. Nurse at the wound center help coordinate DME supplies for dressing changes and work as a case management to ensure the patient has resource from other agencies to further care for their wounds at home.

Preparing for Your Appointment
Prior to your appointment, please bring the following:
- Insurance and identification card(s)
- Bring a copy of relevant medical records
- A list of current medications, including over-the-counter medicines and supplements
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any outstanding paperwork.

We are right off I-69 at the Tapp road exit in the medical building complex.
