Biography
Dr. Aslam is a first-generation physician and has a passion to prevent and treat kidney disease. He believes that one of the most important aspects of nephrology is the availability of tools that can prevent further decline in kidney disease. His clinical interests include acute and chronic kidney diseases, hypertension and hemodialysis.
Dr. Aslam obtained his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan. He initially got training in internal medicine in Pakistan and Qatar. Later he completed his internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai/Bronx Care Hospital Center, New York, and nephrology fellowship from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Aslam is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
