Biography

Beth received her bachelor's from Purdue University in Movement and Sports Science in 1991, followed by her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 1993. Beth's clinical practice has focused on wound management for over 20 years and she is currently a team leader for the Physical Therapy Wound Team at IU Health Methodist Wound Center in Indianapolis. She helped develop their Diabetic Foot Ulcer program which includes monthly screenings, Total Contact Casting and all forms of offloading.

In addition to her clinical work, Beth also spent 8 years as the Director of Clinical Education for UNLV's Physical Therapy program, where she taught Pathophysiology and Wound Management. She has presented nationally numerous times, primarily on topics specific to her research on Deep Tissue Injury and the Diabetic Foot Ulcer. She has served in numerous leadership roles for both the state chapter and the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management. Most recently, she serves as the chair for the Academy's Clinical Practice Guideline Taskforce on the Diabetic Foot Ulcer.
