Biography
Tenley C. Morris, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife and has worked in reproductive health care since 2016. She began her nursing career at Eskenazi Health in the Family Beginnings Unit, where she discovered her passions for physiological birth, perinatal bereavement, medical resident education and reproductive justice.
She has also worked as a birth assistant in a freestanding birth center and supports complex family planning services in an independent clinic setting. Morris ultimately decided to pursue her advanced practice nursing degree to support the patients more tangibly in her community as well as her fellow providers. She found midwifery the perfect avenue to provide compassionate and comprehensive care. As a full-scope certified nurse-midwife, she is honored to guide and affirm people throughout the course of their reproductive health journeys.
After several fulfilling years of work as a perinatal nurse, Morris returned to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in 2025. In addition to her master’s, she also earned degrees from both Ball State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts, and Indiana University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In her leisure time, Morris enjoys traveling, attending concerts and live theater, joyful movement, reading, crocheting, karaoke and snuggling with her cats.
