Biography
Dr. David M. Haas, MD, specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology. He completed his residency and has been in practice since 2001. He joined IU Health in 2005 after moving to Indiana from North Carolina. Dr. Haas has a particular interest in clinical research in obstetrics and is Vice Chair for research in the department. He also serves as the Deputy Director for the Cochrane Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Thematic Group, which focuses on these areas on an international level. Dr. Haas states, "OB/GYN is the specialty I fell in love with because it had everything I loved in medicine- I get to do some primary care, I get to operate, and there is nothing in the world like delivering babies and being a part of that moment."
