Biography
Dr. Jason K. Chu, MD is a board-certified pediatric neurosurgeon. He has expertise in epilepsy surgery with both minimally invasive and traditional surgical techniques, intracranial monitoring as well as neuromodulation. Dr. Chu works with the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program to identify and tailor the best surgical treatment to address pediatric epilepsy.
He also performs fetal surgery for patients with spina bifida and myelomeningocele. He has worked to develop a minimally invasive technique that minimizes the risks of the surgery for the mother while preserving the potential benefits of in-utero repair for the fetus.
Dr. Chu has additional interests in pediatric cerebrovascular disorders, spinal disorders and hydrocephalus.
