Jay K. Mehta, MD

Jay K. Mehta, MD, is an experienced obstetrician and gynecologist currently serving as a laborist with IU Health. Most recently, he worked full-time with the OB Hospitalist Group at St. Joseph Hospital in Syracuse, NY, and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY (2022–2025). Prior to that, Dr. Mehta practiced with Guthrie Medical Group in a multispecialty setting, providing comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care (2017–2020).

He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in Indore, India, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Mehta is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Diplomat of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists..
