Biography

In 2003, Joshua began treating patients at St Joseph's Hospital in Fort Wayne. During that time, he went back to university to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology.

Following graduation, Joshua moved to the Bahamas to complete an internship at a research and field studies field station. His specialty at the field station was in botany/plants and local uses. He assisted researchers in their studies, led land and sea excursions for students and taught lessons around the local culture and ecology of the islands.

He returned to Indianapolis in 2008 and began working at IU Health Methodist Hospital as an inpatient mobility therapist, working specifically with cardiovascular, pulmonary and organ transplant patients. He also spent time working with the organ transplant population at IU Health University Hospital during that time. He regularly assisted with teaching an ICU lab course with a fellow PT for IU School of Physical Therapy.

In 2010 he transitioned to inpatient wound care, spending most of his time at Methodist and filling in at University. During the past several years in wound care, he has also spent time treating outpatients at the Methodist Wound Center on an as-needed basis. Currently, his primary focus is inpatient wound care and triage and treating outpatients as the need arises.
