Biography

Dr. Marin is originally from Colombia (South America) where he completed his Medical School and graduated with honors (Summa Cum Laude). He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Florida where he also graduated with honors. He completed his Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa (Florida), one of the largest and most prestigious cancer centers in the Nation. His research interest are primarily in Lung Cancer, Cutaneous Malignancies, and the use of immunotherapy. He specifically focuses in the use of biomarkers to predict response to immunotherapy, novel agents in immunotherapy, and the appropriate sequencing of these agents to improve outcomes.
