Biography
Dr. Julijana Z. Conic, MD went to medical school at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, Serbia and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She developed a passion for geriatric medicine during her geriatric trauma rotation, which largely focused on the multidisciplinary approach to older adults who sustained injuries following a fall. Additionally, during training and seeing her mother taking care of her grandmother with dementia she has become invested in working with patients and their caregivers to develop treatment plans that the improve quality of life for both parties.
