Kate Grant, PT, DPT

Kate has a bachelor’s degree with a double major in exercise science as well as psychology. She then went on to obtain a doctorate degree from the University of Indianapolis Krannert School of Physical Therapy. Kate has been in practice with IU Health for nearly 10 years. She began her work as an inpatient therapist working on the cardiopulmonary units at Methodist hospital, but switched her focus to the outpatient arena 9 years ago. As a member of the sports medicine team, Kate enjoys working with the weekend warrior and anyone looking to improve their ease of movement. Through attending courses on upper body rehabilitation, core strength re-education, and running assessment, Kate has developed a perspective of looking through multiple regions of the body to focus on treating the person and not just the parts.
