Biography
Dr. Kausik Umanath, MD, MS, is a board-certified nephrologist and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. His clinical interests include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy and home dialysis. Dr. Umanath is passionate about advancing the care of kidney disease patients through exceptional patient care and clinical research, particularly the development of new medications for kidney disease care through large-scale clinical trials. Outside of work, Dr. Umanath enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and is an avid sports fan.
