Biography

Lauren joined the Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic at IU Health as a prenatal genetic counselor in 2020. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 2018 with a major in Biology and a minor in Mathematics. She then graduated with her Master of Science degree in Human Genetics in 2020 from Sarah Lawrence College in New York, where she was awarded the Lipkin Family Prize for Excellence in Human Genetics.

She is board certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling, is licensed in the state of Indiana, and is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) and the Indiana Network of Genetic Counselors (INGC). Lauren is passionate about teaching and supervising genetic counseling graduate students and spreading awareness about the benefits of genetic counseling and genetic testing.
