Biography
Dr. Linda Phan, MD, is a highly-skilled pulmonary diseases and critical care physician at IU Health.
She earned her master's degree in Basic Medical Sciences from New York Medical College, afterwards she worked in influenza vaccine research before attending medical school. She then earned her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Following her studies, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital-Northwell Health and a specialized fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Lincoln Medical Center, New York City Health and Hospitals.
Dr. Phan has a special interest in critical care and pulmonary medicine, specifically lung nodules, interstitial lung disease and point of care ultrasound. She chose her specialty as she sees pulmonary and critical care as the intersection of science, physiology and humanity. Dr. Phan is known for her empathetic approach to patient care, always treating patients the way she would want her own family members to be treated. In her free time, she enjoys trail running.
