Lindsay Tucker, PT, DPT, CCS

Lindsay Tucker, PT, DPT, CCS, is a Physical Therapist at IU Health Center of Life for Thoracic Transplant (COLTT) clinic at Methodist Hospital. Lindsay completed her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctorate degree at the University of Indianapolis.

Lindsay has 13 years of experience in physical therapy, working in both the acute care and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Lindsay specializes in the treatment of cardiopulmonary conditions, including (but not limited to):

• End Stage Lung Disease due to conditions such as COPD, IPF, CF
• Lung Transplant
• Advanced Heart Failure
• Left Ventricular Assist Device
• Heart Transplant
• Post Intensive Care Syndrome

Lindsay works on a variety of treatments with her patients to facilitate their recovery, and some of those include:

• Balance Retraining
• Posture and Breathing Mechanics
• Strength Training
• Recovery of Functional Mobility
• Endurance Training
• Pain Management
• Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Techniques

Lindsay’s favorite thing about working with the cardiopulmonary population is that it allows her to help patients regain function and improve their quality of life so they can return to the things they enjoy most, such as work, travel, spending time with family and hobbies.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, attending her daughters’ sporting events, traveling and DIY projects.
