Maddie Weber, PT, DPT

Maddie Weber, PT, DPT, is a Physical Therapist with IU Health. Maddie completed her undergraduate studies at IUPUI, then attended IU Indianapolis, where she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.

Maddie has 2 years of experience in physical therapy, working across multiple settings including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care and outpatient rehabilitation. Maddie specializes in the treatment of neurological conditions, including (but not limited to):

• Stroke
• Traumatic Brain Injury
• Parkinson's Disease
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Neurosurgical patients
• Vestibular/Concussion Diagnoses
• Neuromuscular diseases (such as muscular dystrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy, multiple systems atrophy, etc)

Maddie works on a variety of treatments with her patients to facilitate their recovery, and some of those include:

• Functional Mobility Including Bed Mobility, Transfers, and Walking
• Adaptive Equipment/Durable Medical Equipment Assessments and Education
• Use of Robotics Equipment
• Bodyweight Support Gait Training
• LSVT BIG Training for Parkinson's
• Maddie’s favorite thing about working with the Neuro population is the rewarding feeling of allowing her patients to continue/return to doing the things they love and being creative to achieve each patient’s individual goals.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, working out and reading.
