Biography
Mamta Barmeda earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and graduated with honors from Indiana University. She has been practicing Occupational Therapy for over 20 years and is a board certified hand therapist (CHT).
She has always been passionate about upper body and hand rehabilitation. Along with treatment of soft tissue/repetitive-use injuries, fractures and arthritis, she specializes on treatments for complex regional pain syndrome, flexor and extensor tendon repairs, tendon transfers, nerve injuries, compartment syndrome, rotator cuff tears/repairs, cumulative trauma disorders, gunshot wounds and traumatic amputations. Mamta enjoys spending time with her family.
When she is away from work she enjoys hiking, rowing, traveling, photography, music and reading.
