Dr. Marc W. Gerdisch is a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive cardiac surgery and heart valve disease. As Professor of Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Director of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at IU Health, he is dedicated to helping patients receive comprehensive, evidence-based care through the least invasive treatment approach possible.

With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Gerdisch focuses on advanced surgical techniques designed to improve recovery and help patients return to their lives more quickly and comfortably. He combines innovative technology with decades of clinical expertise to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
