Biography

Dr. Matthew Mellon joined IU Health Physicians in 2012 and is an assistant professor of urology. He is board certified in urologic surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Urological Association, the Endourological Society and the American Medical Association. He is a frequent presenter at national meetings and has published in several medical journals.

In 2012, Dr. Mellon received the Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award.

Dr. Mellon has clinical interests in adult male genitourinary reconstructive surgery, complex renal stone disease and medical/surgical urinary trauma management.
