Biography

Dr. Mohammad Alhyari is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist who specializes in the treatment of multiple myeloma and lymphoma. He provides comprehensive care for patients with complex blood cancers, using advanced therapies and evidence-based treatment approaches.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Alhyari’s care philosophy is centered on treating each patient as an individual and taking the time to understand not only their disease but also their unique circumstances, needs and goals. Dr. Alhyari believes in bringing the latest advances and most promising therapies to his patients while thoughtfully considering how each option fits their situation. By combining cutting-edge medicine with personalized compassionate care and shared decision making, his goal is to develop a treatment plan that each patient feels comfortable with and that gives them the best opportunity for a meaningful and healthy life.

Education & Credentials

Dr. Alhyari earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology-oncology at Henry Ford Hospital – Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Outside of Medicine

When not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children; seeing his children grow and become the best versions of themselves. He also enjoys watching and playing soccer.
