Biography
Dr. Plamen Mihaylov’s area of clinical practice is liver, kidney and intestine/multivisceral transplants for adults and children. His clinical interests also include living donor, liver transplantation and robotic surgery, which have taken him to the most experienced centers in the world for training.
Dr. Mihaylov is a native of Bulgaria and received his medical degrees from the Medical University of Varna in Bulgaria and University of Milano School of Medicine in Italy. He completed his general surgery training at the University of Pavia School of Medicine in Italy. Upon completion of his transplant surgery fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2017, he joined the faculty and is an assistant professor of surgery.
