Dr. Meneghini is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who is a leading national expert in total hip replacement and total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, outpatient joint replacement and computer-assisted surgical techniques.
Dr. Meneghini is a native Hoosier who obtained an engineering degree from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago followed by a complex hip and knee replacement fellowship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where Dr. Meneghini was recognized with the prestigious Mark Coventry award for being the outstanding fellow in Hip and Knee Replacement.
Dr. Meneghini has a special interest in clinical and biomechanical orthopedic research and is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery with IU School of Medicine. He is the author of over 80 scientific articles on hip and knee replacement, is invited faculty on numerous national and international educational courses and is a member of the prestigious Hip and Knee Societies.
In addition to membership in the elite Hip and Knee Societies, Dr. Meneghini holds national leadership positions on the executive boards of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) and the International Congress for Joint Reconstruction (ICJR).
Dr. Meneghini has won numerous additional awards and was most recently named in the “Top 22 Knee Surgeons in North America” by Orthopedics This Week and Dr. Meneghini was awarded the Early Career Achievement Award from Indiana University School of Medicine in recognition of distinguished early career achievement in the medical profession. Dr. Meneghini was honored with a Career Achievement Award in 2015 by his engineering undergraduate alma mater, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
