Biography
Ruban Nirmalan, MD, FACS has practiced General Surgery since 2006. He gives his patients the time and compassion that he would demand if one of his family members was ill. He knows how difficult it can be when a loved one is ill and needs to undergo surgery. He does all he can do to make their experience a positive one.
Dr. Nirmalan has a passion for Bariatrics. He has seen the life-altering changes that surgery can create for someone suffering from the debilitating disease of obesity. He is trained and experienced to perform sleeve gastrectomy as well as supervised weight loss. He has excellent outcomes, with not only weight loss, but also with improvement of obesity-related diseases. Dr. Nirmalan takes immense pride in his work and feels it is an honor to join his patients in their life-long journey toward a healthy life.
During his spare time, he loves spending time with his family and traveling.
