Biography
Dr. Kurada has clinical and research interests in inflammatory bowel disease and small bowel disorders including celiac disease. Dr. Kurada focuses on epidemiologic studies in celiac disease, clinical outcomes of inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease in patients with both of these conditions.
He is passionate about clinical education in inflammatory bowel disease and is the course director of the quarterly Hoosier IBD Gut Club. Dr. Kurada is the principle investigator of clinical trials in celiac disease and the Study of a Prospective Adult Research Cohort with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (SPARC IBD) sponsored by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America at Indiana University.
