Biography
Sumeeta earned her postgraduate degree from the Krannert School of Physical Therapy, University of Indianapolis and specializes in Pelvic Health Rehabilitation. Her foundational education was completed at King Edward Memorial Hospital & Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay. She has a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from Paul O’Neill School of Public & Environmental Affairs, IU, and a diploma in Applied Computer Science from Purdue.
Her approach to patient care is marked by a blend of empathetic understanding and a pursuit of clinical excellence supported by advanced training and certifications. This comes from Herman & Wallace in pelvic health and oncology series, biofeedback including EMG and Rehabilitative Ultrasound Imaging, Pregnancy & Postpartum specialization and pediatric Bowel & Bladder disorders. She is a member of the International Continence Society (ICS), reflecting her commitment to staying abreast of global best practices in her field.
Prior to her current role, Sumeeta was a home maker and had served as a Rehab Manager for LCCA. In addition to her professional pursuits, she is actively engaged in community service involved in educational and health initiatives in the greater Indianapolis area. She has served on the boards of various not for profits, was the chairwoman of Board of Trustees, Sycamore School, Indianapolis and is the recipient of the Lugar Series Excellence in Public Service and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
