Biography
Dr. Thanita Thongtan, MD, is a gastroenterologist. She earned her medical degree in 2015 from the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Thailand. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas and a fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Thongtan has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented her research at leading national conferences. Her clinical interests include liver disease, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and general digestive disorders.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys birdwatching and cooking.
