Virginia A. Takagi, MD

Virginia A. Dangerfield Takagi, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over a decade of experience in both hospital and office-based women’s healthcare. She currently serves as a PRN generalist at IU Health North Hospital, where she brings her extensive clinical expertise to support high-quality patient care. In addition to her role at IU Health, she continues to practice as a PRN hospitalist with Ascension St. Vincent Randolph Hospital, Hendricks Regional Hospital and through ObStat (OB Hospitalist Group) at Franciscan Health Mooresville. Previously, she spent nearly 11 years with Southside OBGYN (now Axia Women’s Health), where she held leadership roles, including Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of Family Beginnings at Franciscan Health Mooresville. Dr. Takagi earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University.
