August 13, 2018

Indiana University Health has begun offering occupational health services at its six Indianapolis area urgent care centers, giving new healthcare options to employers and their employees.

By offering occupational services through urgent care locations IU Health is helping employers and their employees minimize downtime and missed work while providing convenient access to care.

Indianapolis area employers can now rely on IU Health to provide these occupational services through its urgent care sites:

  • Injury treatment
  • Fit for duty exams
  • Drug & alcohol testing
  • Return-to-work exams

“We have seen strong interest in these new services from employer customers since launching last month. Incorporating occupational health into the urgent care model makes sense as it provides an additional point of convenient care that employers consistently require for their team members. We are excited to offer these new services at our urgent care sites in the Indianapolis area,” said David Kogan, vice president of retail health services at IU Health.
