IU Health Arnett announces new care team members

Emily Newlin, FNP-C has recently joined our Family Medicine department.

Emily Newlin, FNP-C began her nursing career at Indiana University Health Arnett in 2008 as a registered nurse in the emergency department. She decided to further her career and become a family nurse practitioner in 2019. She believes in partnering with her patients to help them understand how they can improve and maintain their overall health. In her free time, Newlin enjoys exercising, reading, attending church activities and spending time with her husband and sons.

Newlin is a graduate of Indiana University Kokomo. Her bachelors of science in nursing is from Purdue University. Newlin is credentialed through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Her practice is located at IU Health Arnett Medical Offices on 2600 Greenbush St., Lafayette.

Julie J. DeBord, AGNP-C has recently joined our Internal Medicine department.

Julie J. DeBord, AGNP-C began her nursing career in 1997. She believes in advocating for her patients and their families. Her main goal is to provide the highest quality, individualized care to her patients in a warm and comfortable setting. During her free time, DeBord enjoys working in her garden, reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.

DeBord obtained her masters in nursing from Purdue University. She is credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Her practice is located at IU Health Arnett Medical Offices on 2600 Greenbush St., Lafayette.

Raeven N. Cole, CNM has recently joined our Women’s Health department.

Raeven N. Cole, CNM began her nursing career in 2009 and pursued her career further as a certified nurse midwife in 2019. She knew after nursing school that obstetrics was her calling. After seeing a midwife for her first pregnancy, she became more interested in learning their role in pregnancy and childbirth. Cole strives to provide holistic, women-centered care by recognizing and supporting her patient’s needs throughout their reproductive years and pregnancies. In her free time, Cole enjoys traveling, playing and watching sports and spending time with her family.

Cole obtained her masters in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She will be practicing at IU Health Arnett Medical Office Building at 5177 McCarty Lane, Lafayette.
