On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Lafayette city clerk Cindy Murray, West Lafayette mayor John Dennis and Tippecanoe County commissioner Tom Murtaugh, declared the day as Indiana University Health Arnett 100th Anniversary Day.
In October 1922, Dr. Arett Campbell Arnett and Dr. Franklin Smith Crockett formed the Arnett–Crocket Clinic, one of the country’s first multispecialty clinics with a mission to improve the health and quality of life in Greater Lafayette.
For the past century, the Arnett team has had many names and many homes, but what’s remained the same is their commitment to delivering the care that matters most to patients, right here at home.
The Arnett team has brought a lot of firsts to our community over the past 100 years—the first trained cardiologist, the first Urgent Care, the first Level III trauma center, revolutionary technology for everything from psoriasis treatment to brain surgery—the list goes on.
Today, IU Health Arnett employs more than 350 highly skilled physicians and providers, who are supported by more than 3,400 team members, offering our patients access to 30+ specialties close to home.
