IU Health expands network of on-site clinics with opening in Frankfort

Indiana University Health expanded its statewide network of on-site employer clinics under a new contract with the Clinton County Government Offices partnering with the City of Frankfort. Under the new relationship with IU Health, employees and their covered family members receive a range of health services at no out-of-pocket cost.

Steve Woods, Clinton County Commissioner, is thrilled about the opening of the clinic saying, “We are excited to be able to partner with IU Health, the City of Frankfort and Frankfort Municipal Utilities to provide this benefit to our employees and their families working together to ultimately improve the health of our community. We extend and encourage our School systems and local industry to partner in this great benefit to help our employees not only gain quick access to care, but to rein in health cost that only benefit us all.”

Jack Dodd, human resources director for the City of Frankfort, said, “This partnership with IU Health, Clinton County and Frankfort Municipal Utilities reflects our commitment to our employees and our community. A healthy workforce is vital to the success of each department in our city. We believe the Associates Health Center is a tremendous benefit that will provide excellent care for our staff and their families in a convenient location and welcoming atmosphere.”

Services offered at the clinic include treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, diagnostic screenings, routine health screenings and women’s and men’s health exams. Individual and group health coaching programs also are offered.

The clinic will serve nearly 400 employees and their 636 covered dependents and spouses from the City of Frankfort, Frankfort Utilities and Clinton County. The clinic is located at 1632 West Ind. 28 in Frankfort.
