MAGNET RECOGNITION PROGRAM® - SITE VISIT
Indiana University Health Methodist and University Hospitals were designated as a Magnet organization in 2004, 2009, and 2014 by the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program®. This prestigious designation recognizes excellence in nursing services. In February 2019, Indiana University Health Methodist and University Hospitals are applying for re-designation.
Patients, family members, staff, and interested parties who would like to provide comments are encouraged to do so. Anyone may send comments via e-mail and direct mail. All comments received by phone must be followed up in writing to the Magnet Program Office.
Your comments must be received by the Magnet Program Office by February 2, 2019.
NOTE: All comments are CONFIDENTIAL and are not shared with the health care organization. Comments may be anonymous, but they must be sent in writing to the Magnet Program Office.

Community members are welcome to speak with the ANCC Magnet appraisers during the Community of Interest Stakeholder Meeting on Friday, Feb. 15 from 10 – 11 am in the IU Health Methodist Hospital Hughes Boardroom. This forum is intended for community stakeholders to share their perspective on how the organization is integrated in the community, how the health care needs of the community are addressed and how the value of nursing is recognized.
