Press Release

IU Health Frankfort now offering chemotherapy

January 09, 2024

Residents of Clinton County and surrounding communities now have a new option, closer to home, for receiving this important care.

Frankfort, Ind. – Indiana University Health Frankfort Hosptial now offers chemotherapy services, giving area residents another option for receiving this lifesaving care without the drive.

“At a time when other healthcare organizations are reducing their presence in smaller communities, we are thrilled to offer another important service to the residents of Clinton County and surrounding communities, close to home,” says Mary Minier, chief operating officer for IU Health Frankfort and White Memorial. “Chemotherapy can be a physically and emotionally draining process. Being able to access this treatment closer to home will, we hope, make the process just a little bit easier for patients and their loved ones.”

With the addition of chemotherapy, patients now have access to a full range of infusion therapy for cancer and non-cancerous conditions in Frankfort at IU Health Frankfort Hospital on Jackson Street. To transfer infusion appointments to Frankfort, patients can call the IU Health Infusion Therapy team at 765.838.6885.
