Indiana University Health will host a public information event on Tuesday, May 12, offering community members an opportunity to learn more about IU Health West Lafayette, the city’s first full‑service hospital, which will open in 2028.
The open house‑style event will take place at the John R. Dennis Wellness Center in West Lafayette. Community members will have the opportunity to engage in informal, one‑on‑one conversations with IU Health leaders to learn more about planned services, project timelines and how the new hospital will expand access to care close to home for the Greater Lafayette community.
IU Health West Lafayette is part of the Greater Lafayette Community Growth Project, IU Health’s broader investment in meeting the region’s growing healthcare needs and improving access to essential inpatient and emergency services in West Lafayette. The project also includes the construction of a new state-of-the-art cancer center on the Arnett Hospital campus in Lafayette and a substantial expansion to the number of specialty medical services available in West Lafayette.
This event is free and open to the public. No formal presentation is planned, allowing attendees to move through informational stations at their own pace.
