Your Safety is Our Priority

Safe care banner v2

At IU Health, nothing is more important to us than your health and safety, today and each day moving forward.

And as Indiana begins to open our doors and step out into this next normal world, we want to assure you that we are taking thoughtful steps to make sure our spaces remain safe for all Hoosiers.

How we’re keeping you safe at each IU Health location:

  • Mask

    Universal Mask Mandate

Providers and patient-facing team members will wear masks at every IU Health facility. Patients and visitors will be required to wear masks also, provided at no cost to you.

  • Social Distancing

    Social Distancing

We support social distancing guidelines by displaying six-foot distances and have redesigned spaces in our facilities wherever possible.

  • Limited Waiting

    Limited Waiting Room Time

We are working hard to significantly decrease (or even eliminate) the time you spend in waiting rooms.

  • Enhanced Cleaning

    Continually Disinfecting

We are enhancing our disinfecting procedures so that everything remains thoroughly clean throughout the day.

IU Health Safety Plan

IU Health takes the health and safety of our team members, patients and visitors very seriously. IU Health developed this COVID-19 Safety Plan as part of our efforts to reduce the potential for exposure to and spread of the coronavirus.
