At our outpatient rehabilitation center on the northwest side of Muncie, we help you get back to your daily routine. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 765.751.2555. Our team includes:

We will listen to you, assess your current ability, and set a plan to help you achieve your goals. Your course of therapy may include:

  • Education for management and prevention of injuries
  • A home exercise program designed specifically for you

We provide occupational therapy focused on promoting independence in daily activities. Your limitations may be a result of illness, injury or the aging process. These can keep you from being able to do essential tasks related to self-care, home management or returning to school or work.

Our team uses therapeutic activities and exercise to help you regain full function. Often, this is based upon the actual daily task of concern. Treatment may also include training in adaptive techniques or using adaptive equipment.

Be Well Program

We want to promote the health and wellness of East Central Indiana. We offer a safe, welcoming place for community members to exercise on land and in warm water. Our goal is to provide exercise and educational opportunities for all ability levels to promote wellness for all.

We offer classes, independent exercise and instructor-led exercise programs. These programs are open to the public. Prices vary for different services. Be Well services include:

Our pool is kept at 93 degrees, is open to the community and has an accessible entrance for those with limited mobility. Classes include:

Functional Movement Screens

The My IU Health patient portal makes it easy for you to navigate to self-schedule appointments with select providers, send messages to your care team, view results and pay a bill.

  • Limited Class Size: We are limiting the number of people in each class to allow for social distancing in the pool and locker room. We use Sign Up Genius to sign up for spots ahead of time.
  • Limited Open Pool: Participants will sign up for open pool times ahead of time. Each time will be limited to one hour.
  • SignUpGenius: A link will be sent out each week to allow clients to sign up for a class or open pool time, allowing 2 sign ups per week per person. If you are unable to use SignUpGenius, call 765.751.5097 and ask to be signed up for an open time.
  • Masks: Masks must be worn inside all IU Health facilities. We will provide a medical-grade mask upon your arrival, at no cost to you.
  • Social Distancing in the Locker Rooms: Our locker rooms will allow for 3-4 people at a time maintaining 6 feet between each person. Please consider how you can decrease the amount of time you will need to spend in the locker rooms. In order to meet social distancing guidelines, there will be two group options for each class, one group coming in 30 minutes before class and one group coming in 15 minutes before class. Please come at the time your group has been assigned. You will be dismissed in the same order, so everyone has a similar amount of time in the pool.
  • Sign In: Please sign in on the iPad when you come in.
  • Payment: We will continue to take payments as we have in the past. If you are attending a class, your card will be punched by the class instructor.
  • Canceling: Please call 765.751.5097 to cancel your reserved time so someone else can use this time.
