Long-term anticoagulation therapy is used frequently in the management of certain vascular and clot forming conditions. This drug therapy is deemed high risk and therefore requires close monitoring to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
The Indiana University Health Bloomington Anticoagulation Clinic works to assess anticoagulation dosing, monitoring, and side effects. In addition, we educate patients to manage their treatment plan. Based on a referral from your physician, pharmacists will direct your anticoagulant care plan.
