From the moment you step into our office, we want to ensure you have a seamless and comfortable experience. During a typical appointment, our care team will do the following:

  • Discuss any concerns you may have
  • Review your medical and family history
  • Check your vitals
  • Provide the necessary medical support
  • Help you navigate any specialty care

Upon arrival, you will check in at the front desk and have a seat. The nurse will walk you back to the pre-op area. The pre-op process takes about 30 minutes to complete. When procedure room is ready, the care team will take you back on your bed.

Once the procedure is complete, you will recover in the same pre-op area where you completed pre-op procedures. Post-op will take about 30 minutes.

About Your Visit

  • Bring a copy of relevant medical records
  • A list of current medications, including over-the-counter medicines and supplement

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any outstanding paperwork.

  • Wear comfortable clothes. Leave jewelry and valuables at home.
  • Have your driver with you at check in for further instructions.
  • Plan on being with us approximately 2-4 hours.
  • No children allowed, please.
  • Bring your advanced directives/living will if you have one.
  • You will be given sedation, which should decrease anxiety and discomfort. However, patients react differently to sedation. You may or may not feel some discomfort or remember the procedure.
  • You must have a responsible adult with you to drive you home or accompany you with taxi or bus transportation and assist at home with post-operative instructions.
  • You will not be able to drive or work the day of your procedure due to sedation.
