Mammography
A diagnostic and screening tool that uses low energy X-rays to examine the breasts for abnormalities.
3D mammography with Tomosynthesis
This type of mammogram combines hundreds of images to make a 3D model of the breast, providing a clearer picture, especially when tissue is dense.
Magnetic resonance Imaging (MRI)
This test uses magnetism, radio waves and computer imaging to produce a clear picture of body structures.
Nuclear medicine
This type of imaging test uses radioactive material to show activity in your body, such as blood flow. The radioactive material highlights particular areas for your physician to view.
Ultrasound
This type of imaging uses high frequency sound waves to create images of organs and structures inside your body.
Computed tomography (CT)
A CT scan uses special X-ray equipment to create a series of detailed images of the inside of your body.
Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy uses an X-ray beam to create a continuous image (similar to a movie) of an area inside your body.
