- The Sleep Disorders Center is located inside the IU Health North Hospital. Parking is free onsite.
- Enter through main entrance.
At-Home Sleep Study
Most sleep disorders are diagnosed through a sleep study. A sleep study monitors your sleep patterns throughout the night to identify anomalies used to make a diagnosis. At-home sleep studies take place in your home. A machine will monitor your sleep and breathing patterns. This type of sleep study can be used to diagnose obstructive sleep apnea.
The appointment for an at-home sleep study typically lasts 30-40 minutes. During that time, you will be instructed on how to use the equipment. All equipment must be returned the next business day by 10 am.
Items to bring for your home study:
- Your driver's license or photo ID.
- Your insurance card.
Insurance & Billing Information
- We will attempt pre-certification/authorization with your insurance company on your behalf. Please contact your insurance company if you have questions regarding your deductible, out-of-pocket payment or coverage information.
