About IU Health Precision Genomics Program

At IU Health, precision genomic testing will look at the genetic structure of your tumor. This helps us discover “actionable” mutations that can be targeted with therapy. These discoveries can lead to new treatment recommendations that may effectively treat your cancer on a personalized level.

Who’s Eligible?

• Adults with metastatic cancer with a solid tumor may be referred to our program. Our program requires a referral from the patient's treating doctor. We recommend that patients are referred into the program as early as possible even if other standards of care are being pursued.
• Riley Children’s Health offers a pediatric precision genomic program.

Parking

IUPUI's Vermont Street Garage

The Vermont Street Parking Garage is connected to IU Health Simon Cancer Center by skywalk.

To locate this garage:

1. Go west on Michigan Street
2. Turn left on Barnhill Drive
3. Turn left on Vermont Street
4. Take the second left into the East entrance of the garage

Note: There are some reserved spaces for patients on the third floor of the garage. The skywalk connects that reserved area to the second floor of the cancer center.

From the skywalk (on the third floor of Vermont Street Parking Garage):

1. The skywalk takes you to the second floor of the IU Health Simon Cancer Center
2. Turn right and take the Michigan Street Elevators to the third floor
3. Turn left out of the elevator and left again out of the elevator lobby

From the valet entrance:

1. Proceed up the ramp toward the Michigan Street Elevators
2. Take the elevator to the third floor
3. Turn left out of the elevator and left again out of the elevator lobby
