Appointment Changes
We understand things come up and you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment with our office. In order to provide our care in a timely manner to you and all of our patients, we ask that you please follow the steps below to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancelling or Rescheduling an Appointment
Please call the office at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment time to cancel or reschedule. Calling early in the day is always appreciated as it allows us to best reallocate your appointment time to another patient who may have an urgent medical need.
No Show Policy
So that we can provide the best care to our patients and ensure all of our patients have access to timely care and appointments, we have a "no show" policy. Patients are considered a "no show" if they do not come to their appointment or do not cancel or reschedule the appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
The first time there is a "no-show", the patient will receive a reminder call about a missed appointment. A second “no-show” will be recorded in the patient’s chart and an automated reminder call will be sent to the patient. You will also receive a reminder letter stating our cancellation policy. A third “no-show” within the year will be documented in the patient’s chart and will result in an automated call as well as a certified letter mailed to the patient’s home outlining the details of their dismissal from the practice.
Thank you for your cooperation and allowing us to best serve our patients.
