Biography
Dr. Alissa M. Conklin, MD, believes in patient-centered care with shared decision making. She believes the most important person in the room is the patient and practices trauma-informed care. She is passionate about educational knowledge that can empower people to improve their own lives and is happy to walk that journey alongside her patients. She truly values a team approach in healthcare, often saying “I am the expert in medicine, but you are the expert in you.”
In her personal time, Dr. Conklin enjoys spending time with her family. She has two sons. Both of her boys had passports when they were 10 weeks old, and they enjoy traveling. They also enjoy caring for animals and have a dog, frogs and chickens.
