Biography

Dr. Amina Jaji is a warm and caring pediatric cardiologist who loves working with children and building lifelong relationships with them as they grow. Families enjoy working with her because of her empathy shown through genuine concern for their children, as well as her thorough investigation of their concerns. She believes in always listening to the patient and family, as that is the first step to true patient-centered medicine. She treats all her patients with respect and dignity.

Dr. Jaji received her medical degree from the University of Illinois in Rockford, Illinois. She then traversed to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she completed her residency at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. She completed her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

When she is not practicing medicine, she enjoys music, movies, traveling and indulging in local cultural cuisine.
