Cedric Mayfield Jr., PA-C, became a physician assistant in 2025 and currently works in urgent care. Mayfield chose urgent care because he enjoys meeting a variety of people and finds that it provides the opportunity to help many individuals while keeping the day exciting and fresh. His philosophy is to ensure high-quality patient care by taking the time to listen to the patient. Mayfield believes in being relatable to the patient as a provider to gain their trust and respect. He emphasizes the importance of patients seeing him in a comfortable, family-oriented environment. Mayfield wants his patients to know that he is very kind, excited to serve them, and does not judge people, aiming to make them feel comfortable around him. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and video games, riding his electric skateboard, going to the movies and participating in outdoor activities.
