Biography
Dr. Cory M. Powers, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary and critical care physician who began practicing medicine in 2025 following completion of his fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Powers developed a strong interest in pulmonary diseases and critical care early in his medical training. He values the opportunity to build relationships with patients and believes that understanding their personal stories is essential to providing effective, compassionate care. Dr. Powers approaches respiratory care with a holistic mindset, recognizing that thoughtful, individualized treatment plans are key to improving patient outcomes. Both he and his wife are proud Purdue University alumni and are excited to return to the area. Outside of medicine, Dr. Powers enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and children.
