Biography

Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He trained at University of Chicago for internal medicine internship, at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital for anesthesiology residency, and then at Mayo Clinic in Rochester for interventional pain medicine fellowship.

As a board-certified physician, Dr. Lee specializes in treating chronic and acute pain. He emphasizes that pain is a subjective experience, and thus when a patient reports pain, she or he does indeed have pain. Many painful conditions arise from arthritis, surgery, accident, cancer, diabetes, and other health issues, and he will tailor treatments for each patient.

In his fight against chronic pain, he employs state-of-the-art technologies based on the latest research evidence. Some of the procedures that he offers include the following:

  • Spinal Cord Stimulation
  • Peripheral Nerve Stimulation
  • Basivertebral Ablation
  • Interspinous Spacer Implant
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Ultrasound-guided Peripheral Nerve Blocks
  • Fluoroscopy-guided Injections
  • Sympathetic Blocks
  • Platelet-Rich Plasma
  • Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate

He loves to hike, ski, travel, read, and enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
