Don J. Selzer, MD, currently serves as the Willis D. Gatch Professor of Surgery, Program Director of the Fellowship for Advanced Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery, Chief of the Division of General Surgery and Associate Chair of the Department of Surgery. Dr. Selzer received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and his graduate degree in clinical research from Indiana University.
His clinical focus is in general surgery and includes bariatric or weight loss surgery, surgical management of gastroesophageal reflux and other foregut diseases and common and complex abdominal hernia repair.
